Clash! version S is out! This should be the last major release for a while.
I created Clash! for my multi-part senior project, in which I had to choose a topic/issue and write a report about it as well as create a product that related to the topic/issue. I chose to write about video game development as an art form, as it takes great skill in a variety of disciplines to create a game.
I built Clash! from artwork by various community members to show how the backgrounds of various artists manifest themselves in their work. Unfortunately, I was only able to receive character art from five other artists before my project deadlines, and while the game fits the senior project parameters, it is unfinished in my eyes.
Version S is the product portion of my senior project, but more work on Clash! is expected in the near future. I just don't think that six fighters and three stages are enough.
I would like to shout out to my play testers, and to give them my apologies that I couldn't fix the volcano or make Super Squirter stronger in time.
